For the charity portion of this year’s New Orleans Home + Interior Design Show, we asked a combination of local artists and construction or pet-related businesses to design and build pet beds that will be auctioned with proceeds going to area animal rescue groups. Bids for the silent auction will begin at the Home + Interior Design Show at noon on Friday, September 9th. Anyone wanting to place a bid can view all the beds and submit a bid at the auction table, which will be set up along the 800 Aisle. Bids will continue on Saturday and Sunday during show hours. At 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10th, half of the beds will be auctioned with the final auction of the remaining beds occurring at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11th.
